Ultima 5000 storage units are designed to be suitable for use in fixed benching, stand alone, or mobile situations. Your requirements dictate the way that Ultima 5000 units are ordered.

Ultima 5000 storage units are generally supplied in four carcase heights, 450, 575, 700 and 1725mm. Care should be taken to specify the correct carcase for the required bench height.

First decide on the desired bench height;
 

* 725mm bench height is also secondary/adult seated height

You then decide the type of installation to suit your layout.
Freestanding units should be specified with either a plinth or castors.
Underbench units will require either a plinth or adjustable feet.
Adjustable feet adjust from 60-90mm or 110-140mm.

Other Choices

For mobile units fitted with braked castors (75mm ht) add suffix C.
For locks fitted to doors and top drawers only (both on drawer/ cupboard units) add suffix L.
For doors with locks to be fitted to Tray Units add suffix DL.

Adjustable Feet - Standard Option

For bench runs with a number of adjacent storage units, adjustable feet are used with a continuous plinth rail fitted as standard. Infill panels can complete the assembly at walls, corners or between units.

This example shows a wide drawer cupboard under a 900mm high bench. This unit would be specified as a U5318 (the standard unit).

Plinths

For bench runs where spaces are required between storage units, fixed plinths may be specified with optional infill panels as shown.

This example shows a single, lefthand hinged cupboard – with plinth – under a 725mm high bench. This unit would be specified as a U5124/P75 (the P75 suffix denoting a 75mm high plinth). Plinths are 75mm or 125mm.

Mobile Storage

Where mobile units are required, 75mm high braked castors can be fitted to the units. If desired, infill panels can be fitted in front of leg supports creating a service void behind.

This example shows mobile, 596mm wide, right hand hinged drawer cupboards under a 900mm high bench. This unit would be specified as U5658C (the C suffix denoting castors).
