We've been around for a long time, over 100 years in fact. In that time we've developed our skills and experience, so that today we can offer you the best service possible.

Throughout our history, we've been renowned for our expertise and craftsmanship. We started out as cabinetmakers and creators of quality domestic furniture. We later brought our skills to the provision of science labs, cookery suites and other items of furniture for education.

We can trace our roots back to the 1860s, when two separate companies were formed. One company specialised in high quality furniture for homes, hotels and cruise liners. The other provided supplies for schools. In 1987, these two firms joined forces to become ESA McIntosh. Such a strong track record in creating quality products and supplying solutions for educational environments, combined with our determination to be the best, meant that this was the start of a major success story.

We're now the UK's leading, and largest, manufacturer and supplier of furniture for educational environments. It's a position we're proud of. And a reputation we plan to build on.
